My mother was my father, While he skipped town, The human scavenger looking for a new nest of eggs to lay and lie down, When responsibility was needed he could not be found, Mr. Merry go round and round, How many circles can one make without seeing the inside? Be the earthquake and cause such divide? The unwarranted tears of these children could fill the desert sands, If they were to wait and hold their so called fathers hands! It's a shame that fathers can't define father, If they were to look up FATHER it would say "WHY BOTHER", How many years will they play hide, but not seek? Choices

Truth speaks truth, Lies are what they are, Non alcoholic drinks at a bar, Are you going to drive that car? Mr. meanor, Turned felony, Disaster words becomes a melody, No one's singing because we don't understand, What happened in life that you had to see it through the bottom of a glass or can? Adults make dumb decisions, Surgeons make the wrong incisions, Bad contacts in the eyes cause blurred vision, Some don't believe in marriage views need to check how they're living! Talk and start forgiving, Stay in line instead of proving to the police that you can walk on it! Start telling the truth and you might believe it, Starting giving more love and you'll receive it, Close palms and bended knees, See what happens if we just say please, When things in life don't go right try drinking water, It's alot better than "will the defendant please rise!" Instead of worrying about job security, insurance hikes,law suit,jail time,court fees,fines,embarrassment,apologies,meetings,depression,reliving the nightmare,problems at home, Drinking is not a game of win or lose, Nothing to prove. Broken metal and glass, Blood and dispersed airbags, Maybe loss of life, Read the news, Don't be the news, See still no winner...... DMK 06/26/13

Life without love, it's like rain without clouds, Music and no sound, One tear from two eyes, believing and not try, A human tongue that won't lie, A heart that won't bleed, Being broke and not having a need, Reproduction without a seed, Day and no sun, night and no moon, Call it what you want, Past pain still haunts, Ghostly and grizzly, Without love will they miss me? Desert storm, Touch so warm, Mountain peak, I love the way you speak, Hold me near, Whisper in my ear, Vision so clear, Eyedrops, Teardrops, Please don't stop! I thought the sun was hot, Succulent lips, Glass like skin, Orgasmic doorbell, Can I come in? No one knows tomorrow, The sorrows, Or the reasons are shadows follows, The souls of today are openly shallow, And these times are so deep, The memories we sleep, Deciding what we should or shouldn't keep, How come the eyes are dry when we weep? Understand why it rains, Clouds stand still, Why we get the run of the mill, Why we can't accept GOD'S will, Even when we can still see from the retinas window sill, Brain infected, Divorce neglected, Debt owed and nothing collected, Societies shifty views and they want to be respected? Trying to give directions and themselves can't be directed! Birds of a feather flock together and most think the same, How can we wear the clothes of the past but, we don't want change, How strange, We're diluted and deranged, Who would figure? That we would still be hearing the word NIGGER? The same that hate the word are the ones that still carrying the burning cross, The rappers have won the one money but, verbally many are still lost, Money, the root of all evil, Power fearfully enforced, Respect, we thought is earned not coerced, Take us to a place to have no more of these dreams, Follow the river to the end of its stream..... My country tis of thee, How far can the eyes can see, Over many mountain peaks, Treacherous emotional endeavours, Though many minds think they are clever, Never say never, What equals ever, Heart of stone, Imagine alone, Love not known, Mentally stripped to the bone, Soul left to roam, Sound of the voice, Thought it was the right choice, What a magical trick, Stomach like sick, Refrigerated pepto, Love told me to let go, A spoonful caused a longer stay, No sewing kit as the heart begins to fray, Once an open door, Now a cement floor, Look through the mail, Wow! A needles point – bevel, A mind like building floors – different levels, Should I come and go like – the days or nights? Hoping every morning to have sunlight sight, Get up on stage without the fright, Keep doing wrong with the left but, the right hand is up right? Politics – who tells the truth? What good is for the country when they are out for themselves? Check point – discovery, Knife point – scared of me! Gun points “FIRE” I made a mistake twice, “Liar” Checkmate, Payments late, Wished some dates would have rebates, Having a debate without reason, Is like marriage without treason, Nature without season, Yesterday – is what it is, Past pain – forget, Love – give it the way it was meant, Your wife – Keep, Mid wife – Love undecided, His wife – leave her alone, (If you were the dog in this story would you take another man’s bone?) Is freedom and justice all a cover up? Lady Justice has a blindfold, The statue of Liberty wears a dress over ankle chains, It’s amazing when the dead are outlined in chalk the blood still remains As the memories are forever stained, Who actually has wars over heroin and oil? Leaving loved ones to rot, die, and spoil, But, we have problems with drugs coming in own country, The unknown soldier buried in a tomb, They can see everything from genes in my cells to what's in our private room, Words of wisdom, book smart, used the past for knowledge, Don’t look at me different because I didn’t finish or attempt college, What’s the difference between you and me? She's always in my head, I wish it was in my heart, Looking for the beginning, Never even got to start, Always in the picture, Never in the frame, I dreamed of genie, She treated like the lamp, I've been through what she's been through, Yet, it was never me, If she was looking for shade I'd be that tree, What is it about them? But, not about me? Always the the bench when the starters are foul, Too many blows to the the heart, How do you throw in the emotional towel? How much crying? How much lying? How long are you gonna keep trying?
