It was cool and clever,
Then I said whatever!

Her face started wincing,
But it mentally sounded briefly convincing,
However,
She said, " I wasn't thinking straight due to bad weather,"
Plus I had other ties that needed to be severed,
Before and anything could be delivered,
If you start something we have to finish,
Or this whole dream will diminish,
It could be everything right in the palm of this hand,
But, fear keeps us apart and lonely as we stand,
Damn!
Nothing gained because the heart remembers pains past,
She said, " I thought I had a man in my forecast!"
I'm sorry it's too much pressure,
She said, " even with tape I couldn't measure!"
